Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy has been used for hundreds of years in both Asia and Europe. Cupping therapy is a massage style that uses the application of a vacuum created by either suction or heat inside of a round cup. Tissue is pulled upward inside the cup, allowing for decompression. This improves blood circulation and drainage of lymph from a local area. The increased flow of healthy cells and elimination of dead cells and wastes from the treated area can help promote healing of injuries.
Cupping Therapy can:
- Decrease muscle tension
- Release fascial restrictions
- Improve flexibility
- Increase range of motion
- Break down scar tissue
- Promote further healing of old injuries
